Miss Amanda L. Clements, age 44, of Swainsboro, died Thursday, February 26, 2026, at the Community Hospice House in Vidalia following a courageous battle with cancer since the age of thirteen. She was a native of Emanuel County and was a 2000 graduate of David Emanuel Academy in Stillmore. Amanda lived in Ailey for fifteen years before recently retuning to Emanuel County where she lived most of her life. She was a homemaker and attended Oaky Grove Church in Wrightsville. She enjoyed going to dirt track races in Swainsboro and baseball games with her son, and she loved her cat and two dogs.
Amanda is preceded in death by her son, Jakob “Jake” Tyler Lively in 2022; maternal grandparents, Jack and Nadine Dickerson and Roy Clements, Sr. and Betty Jean Clements.
She is survived by her parents, Roy and Jackie Clements; one brother, Robbie Clements; five aunts, Janice Davis and husband Larry, all of Cedar Crossing; Karen Beckworth and husband Timmy of Swainsboro, Christy Clements of Buford, Louise Hitchcock and husband Jerry of Cedar Crossing and Jimmy Sue Wilkes of Lyons; one uncle, Raiford Blount and wife Jerris of Vidalia; two nephews, Jaxson Clements of Cedar Crossing and Nat Clements of Swainsboro; one niece, Melanie Clements of Hazlehurst; and two special friends, Wendell Coleman and Suzanne Fjeltul.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday afternoon, March 1, 2026, at 2:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Bratton and Pastor Reece Mincey officiating. Interment will follow beside her son, Jake, at Eastbrook Cemetery and Mausoleum in Swainsboro.
The family will assemble at the residence of an aunt, Janice Davis, 210 George Brinson Road, Uvalda.
