Mrs. Alicia Clark Hartley, age 52, of Glenwood, met her Savior on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, after injuries received in an automobile accident in Treutlen County. She was a native of Wheeler County, growing up in Alamo, and lived near Glenwood most of her life. She was a 1992 graduate of Wheeler County High School, she earned an associate degree from Georgia College in Milledgeville, a bachelor’s in Speech Pathology from Valdosta State University, a master’s in Special Education, and her specialist from Georgia College. Alicia was a special education teacher at Wheeler County Elementary School for twenty-seven years, and was Director of Special Learners in Montgomery County for the past five years. She was a former member of Friendship Baptist Church where she served in various capacities, including Vacation Bible School Director, and currently was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Vidalia. She also sang at both churches and countless other churches, too. She was involved in IMPACT for fifteen years in many different leadership roles and was actively involved with Walk to Emmaus. Alicia enjoyed shopping, hunting, fishing, but above everything, her passion was being a mama, “Glamma”, and being servant of God. She was an inspiration to so many.
She is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Hartley Bea Gammon; paternal grandfather, Eschol Clark; and maternal grandmother, Billy and Mary Cheek.
Alicia is survived by her husband of thirty-one years, Tim Hartley of Glenwood; four children, Savannah Hartley Gammon and husband Wayne of Rome, Addison Hartley of Baxley, Ansley Hartley Williamson and husband Jamie, and Cooper Hartley, both of Glenwood; two grandchildren, Sawyer Williamson and Henry Gammon, and a grandchild to be born in September, Hartley Wren Gammon; parents, Pat and Tommy Clark of Alamo; great-grandmother, Dolly Morris and husband Hubert of McRae-Helena; four siblings, Courtney Clark Palma and husband Michael, Blake Clark and wife Samantha, all of Glenwood, Clarissa Jenkins and husband Jamey of Brooklet, Whitney Griffin and husband Doug of Alamo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home on Saturday evening from 5:00 until 8:00.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday afternoon, May 3rd, 2026, at 2:00 at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Pastor Bobby Thompson and Dr. Mark Davidson officiating. A private family burial will follow at T.C. Family Cemetery in Wheeler County.

In honor of Alicia, the family has requested those attending the funeral to wear royal blue or blue.
