Winston "Winky" Love

Mr. Winston “Winky” Love, age 74, of the Rock Springs Community, died Saturday, July 6, 2019 at his home, after an extended illness.  He was born in Brunswick, raised in Ocoee, Florida, lived in Apopka, Florida for many years, before moving to Rock Springs in 2001.  He was a welder, and retired after twenty-one years from Vine Acres Nursery in Apopka.  Winky enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, yard work, gardening, racing, and going to Cherokee, North Carolina.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Love and Malcy Elizabeth Brown Love; and one sister, Joyce Love Hall.

Mr. Love is survived by his wife, Linda McFall Love of Rock Springs; four children, Aron Love and wife Linda of Beaufort, South Carolina, Johnny Love of Rock Springs, Joanie Love McLaney of Troy, Alabama, and Tamara Love of Rock Springs; one sister, Linda Love Thompson of Ocoee, two brothers, Ronnie Love and Clyde Love and wife Peggy of Winter Haven, Florida; ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 10th, at 12:00 Noon in the Rock Springs Holiness Baptist Church.
