William S. Collins

Mr. William S. Collins, age 58, of Vidalia, died Monday, October 29, 2018, at his home, after an extended illness.  He was a native of Toombs County, and lived there most of his life.  He was a purchasing agent with Kamtech, and was preceded in death by his father, Gaston Levi Collins, Sr.

William is survived by his mother, Sidney Pearl Hall Sheppard and husband Gene; one brother, Gaston Levi Collins, Jr. and wife Freida; two sisters, Melinda Collins Hilton, all of Vidalia, and Brenda Collins Martin and husband Don of Ohio; one step-brother, Ken Sheppard of Alston; two step-sisters, Tonya Sheppard of Lyons and Melissa Altman of Reidsville; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 3rd at 3:00 p.m. in Valley Life Center in the Ohoopee Community with Bishop Gilbert Wommack and Reverend Keith Kirkland officiating.
