Mt. Vernon,
Ms. Wanda Hartley, age 67, of Mt. Vernon, died Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at her home, after an extended Illness. She was a native of Wheeler County, and at an early age, she and her family moved to Jacksonville, Florida. She attended Technical College in Jacksonville and Brewton-Parker College in Mt. Vernon. She lived in Mt. Vernon most of her life; she was a homemaker, Baptist by faith, and was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew Soles and Jackie Seabolt Soles; and a brother, Scott Allen Hartley.
Ms. Hartley is survived by four children, Wendy Langston of Mt. Vernon, Heida Cannon and husband Chris of Moultrie, Jenny Johnson of Mt. Vernon, and Matt Soles of Lyons; two brothers, Fred Hartley and wife Brenda of Fernandina Beach, Florida, and Glen Hartley of Mt. Vernon; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral graveside will be held Saturday, January 12th at 3:00 p.m. in Lakeview Memorial Gardens with Pastor Brian Patrick officiating.
