Vidalia,

Mr. W.J. Stanley, age 76 of Vidalia, died Friday, December 14, 2012 at his home after an extended illness. He was a lifelong resident of Toombs County, and was the former owner of W.J. Tires in Higgston and W.J. Trucking in Vidalia. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and a former member of the Vidalia Moose Lodge and the Vidalia Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Graham; his mother, Littie Stanley; a brother, Bill Stanley and a sister, Patsy Stanley.

Mr. Stanley is survived by two daughters, Tami Stanley Hilton and John, and Suzanne Stanley Scott and Jerry all of Vidalia; six grandchildren, Rachel Hilton Ford and Jeffery of Vidalia, Walter Hilton and Kim of Pooler, Stephanie Graham Foskey and Jamie, Dillon Scott, Dalton Scott, and Elissa Scott all of Vidalia; and seven great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, December 16^th at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend John Young, Sr. and Reverend John Young, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
