Vidalia,
Mr. Tommie Faircloth, Sr., age 61, of Vidalia, died Tuesday, May 7, 2019, in Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, after an extended illness. He was a native of Oak Park and lived there and Vidalia all of his life. He was the owner of T&T Taxi and T&T Towing for many years and was Baptist by faith. Tommie enjoyed fishing and driving. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cephus and Pearl Lee Jones Faircloth; two sisters, Geraldine Taylor and Joyce Battone; and a brother, Cecil Faircloth.
Mr. Faircloth is survived by his wife, Melissa L. Faircloth of Vidalia; nine children, Krystal McDonald and husband Ray of Vidalia, Tommie Faircloth, Jr. of Vidalia, Amanda Swinton and Shan McRae of Lyons, James Faircloth and wife Leslie of Alston, Melisa Childs, Brianna Logan, Kristina Faircloth, Andrea Faircloth, and Brandy Faircloth, all of Vidalia; two sisters, Joann Kirkland and husband Jerry of Savannah, and Betsy Mallard of Vidalia; two brothers, Bobby Faircloth and wife Vodice of Oak Park, and David Faircloth and wife Faith of Treutlen County; nineteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Friday, May 10th at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Reece Mincey officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00.
