Vidalia,

Mrs. Sharon Throgmorton, age 67, of Vidalia died Friday, May 31, 2019, at her home, after an extended illness. She lived in Okeechobee, Florida most of her life, and has lived in Vidalia since 2007. She was a homemaker and attended the Pendleton Community Church near Normantown. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Mildred Gloria Sills Grant; a grandson, Kenneth Daniel Morrell; and a sister, Patricia Ann Gabor.

Mrs. Throgmorton is survived by her husband of twenty-nine years, Tom Throgmorton of Vidalia; three children, Lori Wortman of Vidalia, B.J. Burkepile of Sebring, Florida, and Lawana Ellis and husband Jason of Lake Placid, Florida; one sister, Rhonda Williams of Higgston; one brother, John Grant of Okeechobee; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held later.
