Mr. Rusty C. Manville, age 46, of Vidalia, died Saturday, August 31, 2019, in Memorial Health Medical Center in Savannah, after an extended illness. He was a lifelong resident of Toombs County and was a 1993 graduate of Toombs County High School. He was Baptist by faith and attended several churches in the area. Rusty always had a smile and was loved by all. He was preceded in death by his father, Burton C. Manville; a sister, Yvette Manville; and maternal grandfather, Ralph Wilson.
Rusty is survived by his mother, Bonnie Wilson Conner of Lyons; one sister, Melissa Dixon and husband Josh of the Johnson Corner Community; one brother, Dexter Stanford and wife Kristen of Pooler; maternal grandmother, Ruth Wilson of Lyons; two nieces, Kinsleigh Dixon and Oaklyn Stanford; two nephews, Roper Dixon and Daxton Stanford; and an uncle, Dewey Batton and wife Melissa.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 7th, at 11:00 a.m. in the Lyons Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Rick Wilson officiating. Later, burial will follow in the Hardens Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday morning from 10:00 until just prior to the service.
