Mr. Paul Moxley, age 88, of Vidalia, died Friday, January 3, 2020, in Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, after an extended illness. He was a native of Montgomery County, living in Miami, Florida for thirty-one years, Savannah for ten years and returned to Montgomery County in 1995. Paul was a journeyman, plasterer, Stucco contractor and was the owner of M-%, Incorporated. He was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church and was a former member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and Lakeview Baptist Church in Miami. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tyra Powell Moxley; three sons, Dale Moxley, Mark Moxley and Tim Moxley; one grandson, Kevin O’Neal; three great-grandchildren, Taylin Keyes, Payton Keyes and Raelynn Keyes; his parents, Sidney Moxley and Katie Lee Moore Moxley; and six siblings, E.W. Moxley, Tom Moxley, Gladys Page, Agnes Page, Reba Roberson and Betty Fountain.
Mr. Moxley is survived by five children, Jan Harms of Kibbee, Della O’Neal and husband Bill of Cedar Crossing, Todd Moxley, Kimberly Register and Alexis Moxley, all of Vidalia; one sister, Sidney Moxley Newsome of Vidalia; one brother, Roger Moxley and wife Wilma of Kibbee; seventeen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, January 5th, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Roy Mimbs and Pastor Gaynor Ridgdill officiating. Burial will follow in the Cornerstone Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 1:30 until just prior to the service.
