Patricia (Foskey) Oliver

Mrs. Patricia Foskey Oliver, age 76, of Vidalia, died Tuesday, July 9, 2019 in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia, after an extended illness.  She was a native of Toombs County and lived there most of her life.  She worked with Oxford Industries for twenty years an office administrator and was a member of the Ailey Baptist Church.  Pat enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, drawing and antiquing.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoke Oliver; daughter, Melissa Ann Davis; parents, Allen Foskey and Louraine Williams Foskey; sister, Pam Foskey Palmer; and two brothers, Doyle Foskey and Jeff Foskey.

Mrs. Oliver is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Davis Powell and husband Rick of Vidalia; one step-son, Brian Oliver and wife Tammy of Lyons; three granddaughters, Britany Powell Gibson and husband Ryan of Statesboro, Emily Powell of Vidalia, and Abigail Oliver of Lyons; one great-grandson, Gabriel Martinez; five sisters, Glenda Mosley of Vidalia, Joy Smith and husband Lewis of Brunswick, Opal Dean Fowler and husband Durward of Reidsville, and Phyllis Boutwell of Texas, and Gail Morgan of Vidalia; three brothers, Vernon Foskey and wife Rose Ann of the Cedar Crossing Community, Fred Foskey and wife Jane of Vidalia, and Greg Foskey and wife Weada of Vidalia; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 13th, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Toole officiating.  Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon from 1:30 until just prior to the service.
