Vidalia,
Nathan Ashmond Coursey, age 16, of Vidalia, died Thursday, November 29, 2018, in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia, after an extended illness. He was a native of Macon and lived in Vidalia most of his life. Nathan was a former student at Vidalia Comprehensive High School and presently was a student at Coastal Plains Chartered School in Vidalia. He attended Aimwell Holiness Church with his grandmother. He was preceded in death by a paternal grandfather, Raymond Coursey, Sr.
Nathan is survived by his parents, Raymond and Ashley Coursey; one brother, Braylen Coursey; one sister, Rayley Coursey, all of Vidalia; paternal grandparents, Dot Bass and Mike Monger; maternal grandparents, Dywayne and Sherry Chavis; paternal great-grandmother, Vonnie Vincent of Hagan; maternal great-grandmother, Joan Raby; maternal great-grandparents, Doug and Mary Ennis, all of Vidalia; two close special friends, Tanner Whitaker and Jerrie Whitaker of Reidsville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, December 2nd at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor B.L. Horne officiating. Burial will follow in the Center United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
