Vidalia,

Mercedes Maelyn Hackle, age 17, of Vidalia, died Wednesday, March 14, 2019.  She was a native of Vidalia and attended Toombs County High School.  She attended the New Beginning Church of God and was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Wayne “Little Motor” Hackle, Jr. and her paternal grandfather, Donnie Hackle. 

Mercedes is survived by her mother, Sue Clark Tootle and husband Steven of Helena; her father, Ronnie Wayne Hackle, Sr. and wife Tammy of Dudley; three brothers, Derek Hackle and wife Ariel of Vidalia, Donavan Hackle of Vidalia, and Justin Hackle of Swainsboro; two sisters, Layla Williamson and Addison Hackle of Helena; paternal grandmother, Mattie Ann Hackle of Wrightsville; maternal grandmother, Molly Akers and husband Chelsie of the Cedar Crossing Community; maternal grandfather, James Clark and wife Brenda of the Five Points Community; one niece, Minda Hackle, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 21st at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Smith and Pastor Scotty Williams officiating. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
