Mr. Mark Douglas Cain, age 56, of Orange Park, Florida died Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Mease Hospital Countryside in Safety Harbor, Florida after a brief illness. He was a native of Key West, Florida, lived most of his life in Orange Park, Florida, worked for United Postal Service for twenty-one years, and was a member of Blanding Boulevard Baptist Church. He loved the Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, Jacksonville Jaguars, spending time with his children, and being his grandchildren’s “Papa”. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Evelyn Cain.

Mr. Cain is survived by his daughter, Alexa Taylor and husband Benjie of Cedar Crossing; one son, Jordan Cain and wife Kristi of Fort Myers, Florida; and four grandchildren, Greg Taylor, Joel Taylor, Nate Taylor, and Rebecca Cain.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 23rd at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Roland Cuevas and Dr. Chris Vinson officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 until just prior to the service.
