Mrs. Kaye Geiger, age 71, of Lyons, died Friday, June 22, 2018, at her home, after a brief illness.  She was born in Jesup and lived there until moving to Lyons in 1965.  She retired from Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia as a business accountant.  She was Baptist by faith.  Mrs. Geiger was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Juanita Landon Bennett; and one brother, Allan Bennett, Sr.

Mrs. Geiger is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, Larry Geiger, Sr. of Lyons; one son, Larry Geiger, Jr. and Mandy Anderson of Brunswick; two daughters, Lisa Hower and Dennis Dixon of Ailey, and Lynelle Geiger of Lyons; nine grandchildren, Allan Hower and wife Brittany of Lyons, Justin Geiger and wife Ali of Forsyth, Craig Wilson and wife Madison of Lyons, Burton Geiger and wife Ansley of Forsyth, Emily Hower, Tommie Hower, Neal Hower, Josh Hower, all of Ailey, and Conner Geiger of Lyons; three great-grandchildren, Chloe Hower, Riley Hower, both of Lyons, and Kyla Geiger of Forsyth; one brother, Rickey Bennett and wife Patty; two sisters, Dale Bennett Lamb and Fran Bennett Parmer, all of Jesup; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 26th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Billy NeeSmith officiating.  Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
