Juan Teran

Mr. Juan Teran, age 73, of Lyons, died Sunday, March 3, 2019, in Meadows Health in Vidalia, after a sudden illness.  He was a native of Mexico, living there before moving to Texas, and to Toombs County in 1987.  He worked with Wagon Hammock Nursery for several years, and was Catholic by faith.  While living in Mexico, he was a professional boxer.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Christina Maria Sanchez. 

Mr. Teran is survived by numerous family members in Mexico and his adopted family in Toombs County, Beth Osborne Dowd, Benita Dowd Edge and husband Chad, Randy Dowd, Tiffany Farmer, other grandchildren.
