Johnny A. King

Mr. Johnny A. King, age 64, of Lyons, died Thursday, November 21, 2019, in Oxley Park Health and Rehabilitation in Lyons after an extended illness.  He was a lifelong resident of Lyons and was a 1973 graduate of Lyons Senior High School.  He was a truck driver all of his life, working for several trucking companies, including Dennis Truck Lines in Vidalia.  He attended Fairview Baptist Church in Lyons and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, John Everett “E.J.” King and Hazel Edwards King; and a granddaughter Victoria King.

Mr. King is survived by one son, Everett King and fiancée Amanda Brenneman of Lyons; one brother, Wadyce King of Lyons; and six grandchildren, Hannah Saggus, Hailey Saggus, Jada Guerra, Miley King, Hunter King and Emily Saggus.

The funeral service will be held Monday, November 25th, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel Caraway officiating.  Burial will follow in the Blockers Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00 until 8:00.
