Jeremy Brandon Pittman, age 23, of the Normantown Community, died Monday, October 14, 2019. He was a native of Toombs County and lived most of his life there. He attended Toombs County High School and later received his high school diploma from Madison High School and graduated with honors. Previously, he worked with Savannah Luggage and currently was working with Auto Zone in Vidalia. When Jeremy was in elementary school at Toombs County, he was the #1 Bulldog fan, running the flag with Charlie Crawley. He was a song writer, singer, and played guitar, drums and keyboard. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John T. Pittman and his maternal grandfather, Jimmy Godwin.
Jeremy is survived by his father, Noah Pittman of Clearwater, Florida; his mother, Angie Godwin Pittman of Wrightsville; one brother, Nick Pittman of Lyons; one sister, Ashley Richardson and husband Blake of Uvalda; paternal grandmother, Anna Pittman of Lyons; maternal grandparents, Jim and Judy Coulter of Normantown; one nephew, Cason Richardson of Uvalda; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral service will be held Friday, October 18th at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Efton Green and Reverend Keith Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Lyons City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
