Vidalia,
Mrs. Jean “Misty” Stuckey, age 76, of Vidalia, died Saturday, July 21, 2018, at her home, after an extended illness. She was a native of the Johnson Corner Community, and lived in Toombs County most of her life. She worked at Rabbits Truck Stop for several years, and was manager at Dairy Queen in Vidalia for many years. She was Baptist by faith, and was preceded in death by her husband, Jr. Stuckey; parents, Woodrow Samuel Lynn and Dollie Powell; one brother, Tony Lynn; and a sister, Dorothy Lynn Thigpen.
Mrs. Stuckey is survived by two children, Chris Stuckey and Donna Schexnider and husband Thomas, all of Vidalia; three grandchildren, Charlie Stuckey, Cindel Manders, and Jessica Davis; four-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 25th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Chester Proctor officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
