Janie White

Mrs. Janie White, age 86, of Vidalia, died Thursday, December 19, 2019, in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia, after an extended illness.  She was a native of Cape May Court House, New Jersey and moved to Vidalia in 1960.  She worked at Rose Bud Manufacturing for twenty years and at Stanley Blacker for twenty years.  She was Baptist by faith and enjoyed reading, traveling and cooking.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin White; a daughter, Debbie White Loyd; and her parents, William Norris and Sara McAnney Norris.

Mrs. White is survived by seven children, Bonnie Gay of Lyons, Marvin “Bone” White and wife Heather, Glenn White and wife Debra, Ronnie “Pee Wee” White, Edward “Eddie” White, Donald “Feddie” White, and Vickie White Bowen and husband Gary, all of Vidalia; two sisters, Pat Norris and Alice Norris Digelow and husband Wayne, all of Cape May Court House; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, December 22nd, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Don Carroll officiating. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 until just prior to the service.
