Mrs. Janice “Nana” Harper, age 56, of Vidalia, died Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at her home, after a sudden illness. She was a native of Houston, Texas and lived most of her life there before moving to Vidalia in 2011. She was a graduate of Charles H. Milby High School in Houston and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Janice loved spending time with her grandchildren and was preceded in death by her mother, Julia Rabby; and her paternal grandparents, Ernest and Marie Rabby.

Mrs. Harper is survived by three children, Amy Rau of Vidalia, Johnny Ray Harper, Jr. of Ohio, and Christina Storkamp and husband Matthew of Tarrytown; her fiancé, Stephen Sanders of Vidalia; two sisters, Becky LaCroix of North Carolina and Colleen Phillips of Houston, Texas; and seven grandchildren, Victoria Rau, Gregory Rau, Natalie Rau, Samuel Harper, Haley Harper, Madison Storkamp, and Grace Storkamp.

The memorial service will be held Saturday, January 19th at 11:00 at The Annunciation Episcopal Church with a reception to follow.
