Jack A. Mosley

Mr. Jack A. Mosley, age 72, of Vidalia, died Thursday, August 1, 2019, at his home, after a sudden illness.  He was a native of Toombs County, lived in Vidalia most of his life and was a 1964 graduate of Vidalia High School.  Earlier in his life, Jack worked with Foskey Tire Company for many years and was store manager at Farmer’s Furniture in Lyons for eighteen years.  He worked with Way Finance Company and presently was working with Morris Finance Company.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Vidalia, the Fellowship Sunday School Class, Vidalia Masonic Lodge #330 and Alee Shrine in Savannah.  Jack enjoyed gardening, and was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett Odell Mosley and Eunice Sowell Mosley; four brothers, Billy Mosley, Jay Mosley, Bobby Mosley and Johnny Mosley; and an infant sister.

Mr. Mosley is survived by his wife, Fay W. Mosley of Vidalia; two sons, Steve A. Mosley and wife Tanya of Klamath Falls, Oregon, and Jason A. Mosley of Vidalia; three grandchildren, Justin A. Mosley and wife Brittany of the Normantown Community, Casey E. Mosley of Glennville, and Jack M. Mosley of Vidalia; one great-granddaughter, Lillian Anners and a great-granddaughter to be born in September, Adalind Faye Mosley.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 6th, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Owen Waters officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 until just prior to the service.
