Jack Drew

Mr. Jack Drew, age 44, of Vidalia, died Friday, July 26, 2019, in Meadows Health in Vidalia, after a sudden illness.  He was a native of Portsmouth, Virginia, and as a child, moved to Toombs County where he lived most of his life.  Previously, Jack worked at Pizza Inn and was working at O’Reilly’s and Dominos.  He enjoyed his aquariums; the fish and maintaining them. 

Jack is survived by his wife, Renee Drew of Vidalia; four children, Nathan Drew and fiancé Jamie of the Normantown Community, Aaron Drew and wife Ashley of the Cedar Crossing Community, Brandon Drew of Carrolton, and Karen Drew of Vidalia; his mother, Linda Carlisle of the Five Points Community; his father, Herb Drew and wife Dawn of Cedar Crossing; his grandfather, Billy Winn of Five Points; one brother, Martin Drew of Five Points; four grandchildren, Ethan Powell, Anna Caraway, J.J. Prestridge and Jack Drew III; several uncles, nieces, nephews, and his best friend and devoted canine, Buddy.

A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, August 1st, beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the Cedar Crossing Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jack’s memory to the Cedar Crossing Baptist Church, P.O. Box 157, Uvalda, GA 30473.
