Vidalia,

Mrs. Heather Mallard, age 42, of Vidalia, died Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at her home after an extended illness. She was a native of Asheville, North Carolina and lived there before moving to Vidalia in 2004. She was a homemaker, Baptist by faith, and loved everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Wilkerson.

Mrs. Mallard is survived by her husband of twenty-three years, James Mallard; two sons, Cody Lee Mallard and Thomas James Mallard all of Vidalia; and two sisters, April Thomas and husband Will of Mars Hill, North Carolina and Tracie Toscano of Asheville, North Carolina.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 29th at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Charlie Hodges officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon from 2:00 until just prior to the service.
