Sharpespur Community,
Mrs. Frances Galbreath, age 88, of the Sharpespur Community, died Friday, April 26, 2019, in Meadows Health in Vidalia, after a brief illness. She was a native of Montgomery County, and lived most of her life in Sharpespur in Montgomery County. She worked with Globe Manufacturing for many years. She was a 1947 graduate of Vidalia High School, and was a member of the New Corinth Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Galbreath; parents, Ed “Big Boy” Morris and Reeta Minton Morris; one sister, Mavis Grinstead Galbreath; and a son-in-law, William Acie Edenfield, Jr.
Mrs. Galbreath is survived by six children, Gloria Galbreath Clackum and husband Chris of Charlotte, North Carolina, Patty Galbreath Coleman and husband Buddy of the Center Community, Claudia Galbreath Edenfield of Jesup, Craig Galbreath and wife Jacqui of Hilliard, Florida, Bill Galbreath and wife JoAnn, and Gary Galbreath and wife Becky, all of Sharpespur; one sister, Jeanie Morris Dukes and husband Danny of Canton; two brothers, Joseph Morris of Lothair and John Morris and wife Cindy of Atlanta; twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, April 28th at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Emory Fennell and Reverend Bob Corley officiating. Burial will follow in the Galbreath Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
