Faye (Williamson) Hutcheson

Mrs. Faye Williamson Hutcheson, age 85, of Vidalia, died Sunday, September 15, 2019, at her daughter’s home, after an extended illness.  She was a native of the Rackettown Community in Emanuel County and lived in Vidalia most of her life.  She retired as Product Designer from Oxford Industries after more than forty years.  She was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church, the Willing Workers Sunday School Class and was an auxilian at Meadows Health in Vidalia for several years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Buster Hutcheson in 2010; her parents, Priest Williamson and Laura Aggerton Williamson; and eleven brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Hutcheson is survived by one daughter, Debbie Hutcheson Holley and husband Danny of Vidalia; one son, Greg Hutcheson of Lyons; one sister, Frances Williamson Hart of the Center Community; six grandchildren, Clay Holley of Higgston, Matt Holley and wife Jennifer of Vidalia, Kim Hutcheson Denmark of Vidalia, Shannon Shougrue of Vidalia, Casey Hutcheson of Statesboro, and Tyler Hutcheson of Vidalia; several great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, September 19th, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Trent Akins officiating.  Burial will follow in the Williamson Cemetery near the Kibbee Community.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 until 7:00.
