Treutlen County,

Mrs. Erma Elizabeth Wickstrom, age 89 of Treutlen County, died Thursday, August 10, 2017, in Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, after a sudden illness.  She was a native of Charlton County, was a 1946 graduate of Charlton County High School, and attended Young-Harris College.  She moved to Treutlen County in 1957, was a homemaker, and was in the garment industry in Toombs County for many years.  She was a member of the Mt. Shady Missionary Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, M.T. Wickstrom; parents, Harry and Lizzie Knight Snowden; granddaughter, Joyce Wickstrom; and two brothers, Ruben Snowden and Billy Snowden.

Mrs. Wickstrom is survived by seven children, Fay Wickstrom Mosley and husband Jack of Vidalia, Kaye Wickstrom of Swainsboro, David Wickstrom and wife Rosemary of Lyons, Ray T. Wickstrom and Sarah, Roy Wickstrom and wife Lana, Terry Wickstrom and wife Shelia, and Randy Wickstrom and wife Melanie, all of Treutlen County; one sister, Lillie Peacock of Folkston; two sisters-in-law, Lanell Snowden of Folkston and Erlene Snowden of Big Sandy, Tennessee; twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, August 13th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend B.L. Horne officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Shady Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
