Mr. Elton “Joe” Morgan, age 73, of the Toombs Central Community, died Wednesday, November 29, 2017, in the Oaks Bethany in Vidalia, after an extended illness.  He was a lifelong resident of Toombs Central, was a farmer, and attended Calvary Holiness Church in Vidalia.  He was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry Morgan and Eva Mae Sharpe Morgan; sister, Grace Morgan Spikes; two brothers, Reverend Archie Morgan and Cleve Morgan; and an infant sister, Patricia Morgan.

Mr. Morgan is survived by one sister, Betty Morgan Jones and husband Bill of Vidalia; three brothers, Wilbert Morgan and wife Ruby of Toombs Central, Leroy Morgan and wife Jean of Savannah, and Otis Morgan of Richmond Hill: and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 2nd at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Brothers Neil Bridges and Andrew Bella officiating.   Burial will follow in the Hardens Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
