Earnest Galbreath

Mr. Earnest Galbreath, age 78, of Vidalia, died Thursday, November 22, 2018, in the Serenity Place in Dublin, after a brief illness.  He was a lifelong resident of Toombs County, and retired from the Toombs County Road Department as a heavy equipment operator.  He was a member of the New Corinth Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Annie Della Rountree Galbreath; and a sister, Geraldine Galbreath Halligan. 

Mr. Galbreath is survived one sister, Ida Maude Galbreath Viar of Savannah; one brother, Colon W. Galbreath and wife Mary of Santa Claus; and numerous nieces and nephews, including a niece, Brenda Fenley and husband Tony of Warner Robins.

The funeral service will be held Monday, November 26th at 12:00 Noon in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Bob Corley officiating.  Burial will follow in the Galbreath Cemetery near Alston.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:00 until just prior to the service.
