Vidalia,
Mr. Earl Carroll, age 68, of Vidalia, died Saturday, February 24, 2018, in the Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia, after a sudden illness. He was a lifelong resident of Toombs, and served eight years in the U.S. Marine Corp with one tour of duty in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Phillips Carroll and Daurice Holton Carroll Ray; and a brother, Ernest “Skeet” Carroll.
Mr. Carroll is survived by one son, Mark A. Hall; one grandson, Blake Hall, both of Abbeville; three sisters, Linda Dees and husband Wayne, Edith Finn, and Tina Phillips and husband Tony, all of Vidalia; two brothers, Douglas Carroll of Savannah, and Nicky Ray and wife Debbie of Vidalia; sister-in-law, Mary Carroll of Vidalia; several cousins, nieces and nephews, including a cousin, Wauchula McCumbers of Lyons.
The funeral service will be held Monday, February 26th at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Efton Green officiating.
Burial will follow in the Brinson-Holton Cemetery in Treutlen County.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday afternoon from 1:00 until just prior to the service.
