Lyons,

Mr. Doyle C. Clark Sr., age 71, of Lyons, died Friday, December 22, 2017, in The Oaks Bethany in Vidalia, after a brief illness.  He was a native of Savannah and lived most of his life in the Ohoopee Community.  He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a mechanic and Baptist by faith. He loved hunting and fishing and was preceded in death by his daughter, Kim Burton and parents, Otis Clark and Naomi Godbee.

Mr. Clark is survived by his wife of fifty years, Patricia A. Clark of Lyons; four children, Beverly A. Matthews and husband Daniel of Normantown, Doyle “Charlie” Clark Jr. and wife Jana of Soperton, Otis H. Clark, and Sandy R. Clark both of Lyons; one brother, Danny J. Clark and wife Linda of Houma, Louisiana; sixteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The memorial service with Military Honors will be held Saturday, January 13th at 2:00 p.m. in Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Michael Godbee and Mr. Bobby Clark officiating.
