Mrs. Donna Tanner Walker, age 46, of Ailey, died Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Doctor’s Hospital of Augusta, after a brief illness. She was a native of Savannah and lived there until moving to Vidalia in 1981. She was a homemaker and was Baptist by faith. Donna was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan, put everyone before herself, and loved spending time with her grandson, Aspen. She was preceded in death by her father, Guy Tanner; grandmother, Queenez Gordy; and husband, Henry Lucian Walker, Jr.

Mrs. Walker is survived by her mother, Rebecca Tanner of the New Branch Community; three daughters, Alexis L. Toole of Vidalia, Emily Walker, and Allison Walker both of Ailey; one sister, Debbie Tanner and husband John of Vidalia; two brothers, Michael Tanner of Savannah and Chris Tanner and wife Christina of Vidalia; and one grandson, Aspen Jordan Shinhoster of Vidalia; and several nieces and nephews,

The memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 9th at 3:30 p.m. with Pastor Dan Gasser officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon from 1:30 p.m. until just prior to the service.
