Johnson Corner Community,
Mr. David Poole, age 56, of the Johnson Corner Community, died Monday, November 19, 2018, in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia, after a brief illness. He was a native of Toombs County where he lived most of his life, and in Jasper, Indiana for ten years. David worked with Moxley’s T.V. and Appliance for many years. He was a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed auctions, fishing, and reading to his nieces and nephews.
Mr. Poole is survived by his wife, Jacquline S. Poole of Jasper, Indiana; one son, Nathan Poole and wife Ashley of Johnson Corner; one daughter, Angela Michelle Poole; one step-son, Derek A. Street and wife Andrea all of Jasper; mother, Matalis Kirkland Poole; father, Wilbur Poole; one brother, Darryl Poole and wife Cari, all of Johnson Corner; two grandchildren, Connor Poole and Kenley Poole; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, including a nephew, Colton Poole.
The memorial service will be held Saturday, November 24th at 1:00 p.m. at Rocky Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Joe Phillips and Reverend Bill Black officiating.
