Memories of a Lifetime of Love
Mrs. Claude A. Cochran Rockett, 93, widow of Mr. Horace Albert Rockett, died Friday February 9, 2018, in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was born September 7, 1924 to the late Willie and Annie Claude Spell Cochran. Mrs. Rockett graduated from Toombs Central High School in 1942 and received her Nursing Degree and became an LPN in April of 1963, and worked for Doctors Cirrincione and Bedingfield in Toombs County, Georgia. She was a faithful member of Faith Assembly of God in Lyons. She was predeceased by four brothers George, Harvey, James, and Broadus Cochran and three sisters, Minnie O’Neal, Mary O’Neal and Olivene Meadows.
Mrs. Rockett is survived by two sons, Foye H. Rockett Sr. and wife Betty, Troy H. Rockett Sr. and wife Pam; five grandchildren Foye Rockett Jr., Dondie Royal and husband Keith, Troy Rockett Jr. and wife Tara, Alice Green and husband Richie, Maranda Wrenn and husband Derek; twelve great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday February 24th 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Hardens Chapel United Methodist Church.
