Miss Bridgett Avalon Hamrick, age 52, of Lyons, died Sunday, August 13, 2017, in the Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia, after a sudden illness.  She was a native of Savannah, and lived most of her life in Toombs County.  She was Baptist by faith, and was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Karen Schneider Hamrick, and step-mother, Mary Hamrick.

Miss Hamrick is survived by one sister, Theresa H. Wyrick of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina; three brothers, Edgar Hamrick, Jack Russell Hamrick, Jr., and Larry Fredrick Hamrick, all of Savannah; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, August 17th at 11:00 a.m. in the Pinecrest Cemetery with Reverend Don Moye officiating. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 9:00 until 10:30.
