Lyons,

Mr. Billy Toole, age 72, of Lyons, died Saturday, November 25, 2017.  He was a native of Bulloch County, and lived most of his life in Toombs County.  He was a salesman with Lady Renee Industries for many years, and managed O’Toole Hardware in Uvalda.  He served in Army National Guard.  He was a member of the St. Matthews Church of God, where he taught Sunday school, and formerly served as Church Treasurer.  Billy enjoyed his friends and fellowship at Roxy’s Diner in Lyons.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Harrison Toole; a son, Phillip E. Toole; parents, John Paul Toole and Lucille Allen Toole; and a brother, Lamar Toole.    

Mr. Toole is survived by four children, Steven J. Toole and wife Becky of Vidalia, Mark Toole of Martinsville, Virginia, Dana Toole Lucke and husband George, and Jason Toole and wife Candi, all of Lyons; four brothers, Bobby Toole and wife Jo, Gary Toole and wife Carolyn, all of Cedar Crossing, Jerome Toole and wife Paula of Vidalia, and Pickens Toole of Uvalda; one sister, Voncille Samples and husband Ronnie of Cedar Crossing; one sister-in-law, Velta Toole of Cedar Crossing; eight grandchildren, Brooke Flowers and husband Andrew, Megan Toole, Harrison Toole, Madison Toole, George Luke III, Emma Lucke, Joshua Toole, and Caleb Toole; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 28th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Harry Sims officiating.  Burial will follow in the Cedar Crossing Church of God Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00, and will assemble at the residence of the daughter, Dana Lucke, 2499 Hardens Chapel Road, Lyons.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to the St. Matthews Church of God, 135 Robert Poole Road, Lyons GA 30436.
