Mrs. Annette Lindsay Kirkland, age 67, of Lyons, died Sunday, July 1, 2018, in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia, after an extended illness.  She was a native of Toombs County, and lived in Lyons most of her life.  She worked in the apparel industry in Toombs and Tattnall Counties, and was a caregiver and homemaker.  She was a member of the Reedy Creek Full Gospel Church.  She was preceded in death by a son, Tracey Ward; parents, Brandon “Burhead” Lindsay and Odean Thompson Lindsay; and two brothers, Jimmy Lindsay and Daniel Lindsay.

Mrs. Kirkland is survived by her husband of thirty-five years, Carlton Kirkland of Lyons; four children, Dewayne Burton and wife Sharon of Lyons, Gidget Rewis of Reidsville, Daniel Wilt and wife Michelle, and Greg Wilt and wife Stephanie, all of Lyons; four step-children, Ann Leggett of Lyons, Jan Griffin and husband Murray of Savannah, Joey Kirkland of Macon, and Jimmy Moser and wife Tamera of Glennville; step-father, Victor Guitard of the Normantown Community; one brother, Glenn Lindsay and wife Sharon of Lyons; one sister, Lavonne Lindsay of Reidsville; sixteen grandchildren, including Jessica Soles, numerous great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 3rd at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor John Griffin officiating.  Burial will follow in the Reedy Creek Full Gospel Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
