Lyons,

Miss Angela McDilda, age 52, of Lyons, died Wednesday, November 29, 2017 in the Medical Center in Atlanta, after a lifelong illness.  She was a native of Lyons and has been at home the past forty-seven years with her loving caregivers in Skilled Nursing Care, Georgia Regional Hospital in Atlanta.  Her church home was The Oaks Baptist Church and she was preceded in death by her father, Ben Jack McDilda; maternal grandparents, W.J. and Mary Ruth Culberson; and paternal grandparents, Shelton and Elizabeth Newton McDilda.

Miss McDilda is survived by her mother, Eugenia McDilda of Lyons; one sister, Celeste McDilda Robison and husband John of Lyons; a nephew, Weston Robison and wife Susannah of Atlanta; special aunt and uncle, Robert “Bob” and Anne Culberson; and the very special caregivers at Skilled Nursing Care.

The graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, November 30th at 1:30 p.m. in Lyons City Cemetery with Reverend Steve Ayers officiating.
