Mrs. Angela Christopher Crabb, age 77, of Vidalia died Thursday, July 4 at home after a brief illness.  She was a native of Orangeburg, South Carolina, and lived most of her adult life in the Vidalia area. Mrs. Crabb was a homemaker, the owner and operator of C&T Wholesalers since 1982, and a member and the treasurer of Fairview Baptist Church.  She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and spending time with her family.  Mrs. Crabb was preceded in death by her husband, Edsel Crabb; her parents P.B. Christopher, Sr. and Victoria Hutto Christopher Corbett; and her step-father Richard Corbett.

Mrs. Crabb is survived by her daughter Mona Crabb Jones and husband Johnny of Ailey; three grandchildren: Sarah Jones Humphries and husband Jon of Chelsea, Alabama, Jessica V. Jones and John Jones, both of Ailey; one great-grandson Alexander Jones Humphries of Chelsea, Alabama; two sisters: Carol Schurlknight of Johnson City, Tennessee and Elaine Berry of West Columbia, South Carolina; one brother Pinky Christopher and wife Gloria of Cordova, South Carolina; chosen family Bill Jones and wife Linda, Robert Roberson and wife Amy, all of Lyons, Wedrell and Betty Meeks of Vidalia, and Kane Collins and fiancée Summer Curl of Reidsville; and the church family of Fairview Baptist. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be held Monday, July 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Fairview Baptist Church in Lyons with Reverend Glenn E. Russell and Reverend Chuck Mullis officiating.  Burial will follow in the cemetery of Bethlehem Sand Hill United Methodist Church in Telfair County. Pallbearers will be John Jones, Jim Christopher, Richard Christopher, Stephen Culley, Matthew Fogle, and Kane Collins.

The family will receive friends at Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home Sunday, July 7 from 6:00-8:00.
