Mr. W.H. Williamson, age 82, of the Kibbee Community, died Thursday, February 16, 2017 at his home, after a sudden illness.  He was a native of Kibbee and lived there all of his life.  He was the owner/operator of W.H. Williamson Drywall, and was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding horses, and woodworking. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. Williamson and Reba Braddy Williamson.

Mr. Williamson is survived by his wife of sixteen years, Brenda M. Williamson; two sons, Monty Williamson and wife Amanda, and Mitch Williamson and wife Anita, all of Kibbee; three step-sons, Marshall Jones and wife Laura of Swainsboro, Russell Jones of Jekyll Island, and Kyle Jones of Mt. Vernon; one sister, Jean Morris and husband “Buster” of Higgston; one brother, Earl Williamson and wife Audrey of Vidalia; nine grandchildren, Jessica Williamson, Macy Kight, Harley Selph, Cliff Williamson, Samantha Phillips, Cassie Williamson, Frank Jones, Isaac Jones, and William Jones; four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 18th at 1:30 p.m. in the Tabernacle Baptist Church with Reverend Efton Green officiating.  Burial will follow in the Williamson Cemetery near Kibbee.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 until 8:00.
