Mrs. Virginia Norfleet Denmark, age 69, of the Johnson Corner Community, died Saturday, June 20, 2015 at her home, after an extended illness.  She was a native of Toombs County, and lived in Johnson Corner most of her life.  She was a school bus driver for the Toombs County School System, and was an active member of the Edmond Chapel Church of God.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Norfleet Sanders in 2013; and parents, Alfred Walter Norfleet and Lessie Mae Edge Norfleet.

Mrs. Denmark is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, Ralph Denmark of Johnson Corner; four sons, James “P-John” Norfleet of Johnson Corner, Melvin Denmark and wife Michelle of Vidalia, Mark Denmark and Benji Denmark and wife Kristi, all of Johnson Corner; one son-in-law, John Sanders of the Marvin Community; five grandchildren, Melayna Denmark, Katie Brigman, Hope Denmark, Bradley Denmark, and Cole Denmark; two brothers, Benneth Norfleet and Kenneth Norfleet of Soperton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 23rd at 11:00 a.m. in the Edmond Chapel Church of God with Pastor Wayne Swanson officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Edmond Chapel on Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
