Vidalia,

Mrs. Trudy Guitard, age 71, of Vidalia, died Monday, July 13, 2015 in Meadows Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.  She was a native of Bad Homburg, Germany and has lived in Toombs County since 1985. She was a homemaker and member of Reedy Creek Full Gospel Church and was a former member of Vidalia Baptist Temple. She was a selfless person and loved her family and grandchildren.

Mrs. Guitard is survived by her husband, Victor Guitard of Vidalia; three sons, Michael Heiser and wife Laurie of Mobile, Alabama, Robert Wilt and wife Nicole of Bonaire, and Carolin Wilt of Normantown; eleven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Friday, July 17th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend John Griffin and Reverend H.G. Ridgdill officiating.  Burial will follow in Reedy Creek Full Gospel Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening and Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
