Cedar Crossing Community,

Mr. Terrence Herndon, age 80, of Cedar Crossing, died Saturday, July 29, 2107, in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia, after an extended illness.  He was a native of Toombs County, living in Florida and California for many years, and returned to Toombs County more than thirty years ago.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Donnell Brinson Herndon.

Mr. Herndon is survived by three sisters, Reta Frisancho of Gainesville, Iris Gray of Vidalia, and Dale White of Lizella; three brothers, Harvey Herndon and wife Geneva, Elmer Herndon and wife Grace, and Ernie Herndon, all of Soperton; and numerous, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The graveside funeral service will be held Monday, July 31st at 11:00 a.m. in the Zaidee Advent Christian Church near Soperton.
