Mt. Vernon,

Stephanie Anne Morris, age 42, of the Bear Creek Community, died Saturday, September 24, 2016 at her home, after an extended illness.  She was a native Montgomery County, living there most of her life, and was a 1992 graduate of Montgomery County High School.  Previously, she worked with Dustin Tapley as legal secretary, and most recently worked as a dispatcher with Tattnall County 911.  She was a member of the Vidalia Baptist Temple.

Stephanie is survived by two children John Tyler Biddle and wife Raegan, and Katie Biddle; one grandson, Cade Brooks Biddle, all of Vidalia; her father, Alan Morris of Bear Creek, her mother, Colette Driggers Higgins and husband Stacy of Baxley; step-mother, Elizabeth Montford and husband Jimmy of Mt. Vernon; two sisters, Kristi Micelle Morris and Shannon Morris Brinson and husband James, all of Lyons; two brothers, Jeremy Lee Morris and wife Bernice of Lino Lakes, Minnesota, and Cody Palmer and wife Melissa of Soperton; maternal grandmothers, Cleo and Howard McClain of Augusta, and Beverly Driggers of Vidalia; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 28th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall with Reverend Scottie Pitts officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 10:00 until just prior to the service.
