Mrs. Ruth Williamson Smith, age 84 of Oak Park, died Saturday, March 14, 2015 in the Emanuel Medical Center Nursing Home in Swainsboro, after an extended illness.  She was a native of Alston, and lived in the Oak Park area most of her life.  She worked at Oxford Industries for many years, and retired from Savannah Luggage Works.  She was a member of the Oak Park Church of God, and attended The Rock Worship Center in Stillmore.  She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Ned Smith, and her former husband, Bennie Williamson; and five siblings, Earl, Bonnie Mae, Clifford, Howard, and Edward.

Ruth is survived by one daughter, Brenda Williamson Conley and husband Ricky of Oak Park; two sons, Ben Williamson and wife Debbie of Vienna, and Tim Williamson of Macon; nine grandchildren, Ryan Pepin, Brad Pepin, Gant Conley, Crue Conley, Ben Williamson, Jr., Blake Williamson, Sean Williamson, Ashley Williamson, and Fallon Williamson; thirteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Monday, March 16th at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Collins, Reverend Arthur Conley, and Reverend Roger Holley officiating.  Burial will follow in the Oak Park City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 5:00 until 7:00.
