Mr. Charles Emmett “Rocky” Pritchard, Jr., age 70, of Vidalia, died Thursday, October 20, 2016 in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia, after an extended illness.  He was a native of Macon, was a graduate of Lanier High School, and attended Brewton-Parker College and the University of Georgia.  He worked with 3M in Macon for nine years, and for several years with Cannon Office Equipment in Chattanooga, Tennessee as the general sales manager.  He moved to Vidalia 2002, and presently was Account Executive with Fairway Outdoor Advertising.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Vidalia, the Knights of Columbus in Macon, and was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Macon.  He was preceded in death by his son, Charles Emmett “Chad” Pritchard III; and his father, Charles Emmett Pritchard, Sr.

Mr. Pritchard is survived by his wife, Melissa Pittman Pritchard of Vidalia; three children, Roxanne Pritchard Faulkner and husband Kelly of Charleston, South Carolina, Christina Cullen of Nashville, Tennessee, and Mildred “Millie” Pritchard of Vidalia; his mother, Mildred Martin Pritchard of Macon; one sister, Beverly Thurston of Macon; two brothers, David Pritchard of Milledgeville, and Steve Pritchard and wife Susan of Macon; one grandson, Chase Pritchard; one great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.

The Funeral service will be held Sunday, October 23rd at 2:00 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church of Vidalia with Reverend Robert Greene and Reverend Jose Caraballo officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pinecrest Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
