Mr. Robert Lee Doyle of the Ohoopee Community died Friday, June 18, 2017.  He was born on May 14, 1938 in Sylvania to the late Willis E. Doyle and Marie V. Doyle, and grew up in Candler County.  Robert was baptized in 1959 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and faithfully served Jehovah for many years.  He enjoyed talking about his faith and had a deep love for Jehovah.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth McCumber Doyle; and two brothers, Obert Doyle and Willis Doyle.

Mr. Doyle is survived by his wife of twenty-two years, Nancy Jarriel Doyle; his children and step-children, Doug Doyle and wife Connie, Ricky Hower, Dwain Doyle and wife Allison, Drew Doyle, Brian Hower and wife Ashley, Krista Strickland and husband Jonathan; grandchildren, Leah Godwin and husband Michael, Ricky Allen Hower, Ashley Hower, Olivia Waters, Payton Strickland, Ayden Strickland; great-granddaughter, Marlayna Godwin; brothers and sisters, Lila Mae Ward, Henry Doyle and wife Charlene, Jack Doyle and wife Dorothy, Evelyn Sutton, Dorothy Fulmer and husband Dennis, Randy Doyle and wife Patricia, Annette Cannon, Carolyn Wiley, Diane Ellis and husband Kurt, and Martha Sue Boyett and husband Tim; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 18, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 3:00 until just prior to the service.
