Oak Park,

Mrs. Rindy Jones Head, age 62, of Oak Park, died Thursday, August 27, 2015 from injuries received in an automobile accident in Toombs County. She was a native of Jeff Davis County, and was a 1971 graduate of Jeff Davis High School. She lived in Ocala, Florida for six years, Port Wentworth, for sixteen years, and the last fifteen years in Oak Park. She recently retired as a paramedic and firefighter from Bryan County and had previously worked as a paramedic for Chatham County Emergency Medical Services.  She attended the Oak Park Church of God, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mary Nelson Jones.

Mrs. Head is survived by her husband of forty-three years, Keith Head of Oak Park; two sons, James “Keith” Head II and wife Heather of Flowood, Mississippi, and Kevin Head and wife Kaydee of Oak Park; three brothers, Timmy Jones and wife Debbie of Uvalda, Kenny Jones and wife Alisa of Hazlehurst, and Jimmy Jones of Uvalda; two sisters, Vicki Scott and husband Ricky, and Tammy Murray and husband Jay all of Uvalda; six grandchildren, Jake, Elizabeth, Alexis, Alyssa, Emily, and Kevin Head; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, August 30th at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Joseph Lee and Reverend Dennis Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery near Hazlehurst.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
