Lyons,

Miss Philicia Davis, age 24, of the Johnson Corner Community, died Tuesday, August 22, 2017, in the University Summerville in Augusta.  She was a lifelong resident of the Johnson Corner Community, and was a 2011 graduate of Toombs County High School.  She attended the Ohoopee Holiness Church, and was preceded in death by an uncle, Joseph Carroll.

Philicia is survived her parents, Phillip and Amy Davis of Johnson Corner; twelve siblings, Georgia Copeland of Mississippi, Joyce Warren of Camilla, Phillip Davis, Jr. of Vidalia, Edgar Heath of Lyons, Chelsey Davis of Johnson Corner, Tim Bowen of Ft. Lagoon, North Carolina, Adam Davis, Shyann Davis, Courtney Davis, all of Texas, and Laila Smith, Caleb Carroll, and Aleah Carroll, all of Johnson Corner; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The graveside funeral service will be held Friday, August 25th at 11:00 a.m. in the Carroll Family Cemetery with Reverend Jarrell Lillard officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
