Uvalda,

Mrs. Pat A. Adams, age 82, of Uvalda, died Thursday, May 14, 2015 in the Bethany Nursing Center in Vidalia, after an extended illness.  She was a lifelong resident of Montgomery, and lived in Uvalda most of her life.  She was a homemaker, and a member of the Charlotte United Methodist Church and Sunday school class.  She was preceded in death by her parents, George L. Adams and Sophia Eula Hughes Adams; and two sisters, Carolyn Adams and Johnnie Adams Currie.

Mrs. Adams is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Anderson of Uvalda; three sons, David Adams wife Zan of Uvalda, Stacey Adams of Uvalda, and Mark Adams and wife Tracey of Monroe, North Carolina; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 16th at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Shareon Womack officiating.  Burial will follow in the historic Dead River Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
